Tivoli Carvoeiro

The food and service were top notch, and I'd absolutely return. It's an older hotel, but they've done an amazing job keeping it modern. The room was great aside from the bed being too firm, flat pillows and child-size robes. It could get a little warm sometimes. Beautiful hotel and a great location.

The staff's friendliness and professionalism really made our stay, and I honestly couldn't fault the visit. Everything was well maintained, the decor was lovely, and our comfortable room had impeccable views. Room service was efficient, and the food was excellent, especially breakfast at the buffet. Service was spot on, with thoughtful touches throughout. They even brought champagne and a cake for my partner's birthday without us mentioning it. An amazing stay from beginning to end.

The breakfasts included with our room were incredible, and the restaurant and bar staff couldn't do enough for us. We also made good use of the indoor and outdoor pools, which we had to ourselves each time, probably because we came outside the main holiday season. The spa facilities were available too, with treatments at extra cost. The hotel was immaculate, with plenty of restaurants and a bar on site. My partner and I booked seven nights in Carvoeiro for my 40th birthday. We chose Tivoli for its beach access and good reviews, and decided to treat ourselves a little. We were greeted by professional, friendly reception staff, and the stay was faultless. On my birthday, we came back to a cake and a bottle of champagne from the hotel, which I really appreciated. If I could give more than five stars, I would. We loved every minute and hope to return.

I was already wishing we could come back next year before we'd even left. The resort is close to several beaches and the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, about a 15-minute walk away, and the location is perfect. We celebrated my birthday here, and the hotel sent champagne and a cake to our room. I'm also grateful to whoever arranged the flower bouquet when my husband wanted to surprise me with something extra. The views, food and facilities all exceeded expectations. Breakfast had a huge selection of premium-quality food. There's one outdoor pool, kept in great condition, overlooking a lovely cliff. The staff and waiters were some of the sweetest people I've met. The rooftop restaurant and bar have amazing sunset views. It really felt like a complete getaway, and officially our best resort holiday.
