The only drawback is the location if you want to be in the middle of everything and don’t have a car. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Carvoeiro’s main beach and town center. The owner provided a detailed guidebook and helpful instructions before we arrived. This is a charming B&B, ideal for a longer stay. The apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities you’d need. The bedrooms are bright and airy, with plenty of storage, and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. There’s even a washing machine and detergent. You can lounge in the hammock on the balcony or use the outdoor grill. We’d definitely stay again if we visited Carvoeiro.

Pedro was welcoming and communicative from Day 1, quick to answer questions and help during the stay, and shared good recommendations and a useful guide. The apartment has a quirky charm, and its outdoor space gets the morning sun, making it lovely for breakfast. I enjoyed watching birds through the ‘window’. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to shops and cafes, and a short walk to Carvoeiro town, the Boardwalk, and the cliffs by Algar Seco. The sunsets there were beautiful every day in January. Since I stayed longer than a week, I especially appreciated the homely touches: a small music speaker, excellent WiFi, a washing machine, cosy evenings by the fire, and a well equipped kitchen.

Pedro’s apartment is a wonderful place to stay in Carvoeiro, one of my best stays in the Algarve. It’s well located, with hiking trails nearby, several beaches within walking distance, and restaurants, shops, and a traditional market close by. The beautiful house has everything needed for a longer stay. I highly recommend it.

The terrace was heavenly for breakfast, and I loved reading in the hammock. The house had everything I needed, especially a very well equipped kitchen. It’s an easy walk to the center of Carvoeiro and its restaurants and bars. Staying here was a highlight, and I can’t wait to come back!

A cosy, lovely apartment for two with all the amenities. Ricardo was a great Airbnb host. The balcony looks over the ocean, though the apartment is about 300 metres back from the coastline. It’s around a 15-minute walk to the town center and 10 minutes to shops and the local farmers market. I’d definitely return.
