Nice Home in Lagoa With 2 Bedrooms, Outdoor Swimming Pool and Swimming Pool

There’s a lovely pool and the rooms are nice, so this place has potential. Unfortunately, the facility isn’t maintained well and it shows. You’ll need a car, since it’s not within walking distance, and there’s little to do nearby with minimal amenities, though there are some nice restaurants. The outdoor pool water is cold, but the indoor pool is nice.

There’s plenty here for both adults and kids. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the resort has tennis courts, a fitness center, and indoor and outdoor pools. A great place for a holiday or even to live.

The cockroaches coming from under the bathtub were a health concern, and the bathtub jacuzzi wasn’t working, which was disappointing. The bar and food were very expensive, though I expected that at a five-star resort, and the location felt a bit cut off from shops, bars, and restaurants. Still, Monte Santo Resort is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. One member of the cleaning staff was especially lovely to my daughter and gave her a baby toy. She was the kindest person we met there. I wish we’d been able to say goodbye before leaving, and I hope she gets a pay rise. Thanks for having us, Monte Santo Resort.

The room was huge, with a full kitchen and a washing machine, which suited a longer stay, and the breakfast buffet was superb. I also liked the big, beautiful outdoor pool and the indoor spa, especially its spacious pool, sauna, and hammam. There were too many broken things around the resort for it to feel like a five-star hotel: the outdoor pool bridges, our room shower, and even the sauna door handle and ladle. We didn’t have anywhere to hang our towels or bathrobes either. It came across more like a poorly maintained three-star place.
