Elke was there to help with our luggage when we arrived late, then showed us around the place we came to call our “Oasis.” We were so happy with our choice. This was much more than a BnB. The pool area, with all its different spots to lounge, felt like paradise in The Algarve. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. Every morning came with a hello, a smile, and an offer of coffee or cappuccino, and Maarten went out for fresh bread and pastries. Elke was always ready with suggestions about where to visit and how to get there. Elke, Maarten and their staff were perfect hosts. Our room, with its outdoor space, was more than we expected: comfortable, thoughtfully designed and beautiful in every way. We were pleased with everything about our stay at Quinta do Ourives. The location also worked perfectly for our day trips. I’d strongly recommend staying here. We want to return to The Algarve just to stay again.

Elke and the team made us feel so welcome. They were thoughtful and accommodating in every way. Each morning they put on a wonderful homemade breakfast and happily adjusted it for our celiac allergy. The property was beautiful, clean, warm and stylish, with a relaxed atmosphere. There are amazing restaurants nearby and so much to see and do. It’s an outstanding location. Highly recommend!

We had the best few days at Quinta do Ourives. It’s a beautiful setting, just five minutes from town and the local beach. Elke was incredibly helpful with lots of tips for things to do, and even let us stay by the pool for a few hours after checkout before our long drive. The pool area is amazing, with a great honesty bar. They do a weekly BBQ in the summer, and breakfast was incredible every morning. Honestly, I couldn’t fault the place and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Just perfect!

We spent a few nights at this beautiful property in October and couldn’t have hoped for a more enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and stylish, with a terrace and everything we needed to be comfortable. Breakfast every morning was amazing, with fresh bread, delicious pastries, cold cuts, fruit and eggs made to your liking. What made it especially lovely was Elke’s hospitality. She greeted us with a friendly smile each morning and was always happy to share local tips and suggestions. A perfect end to our Portuguese adventure.

Our stay at Quinta do Ourives made our time in the Algarve memorable. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, the location worked perfectly, and breakfast was delicious. Everyone on staff was kind, helpful, and keen to make things easy for us.
