Even with a busy road junction off the motorway and hauling companies nearby, the room was very quiet thanks to good sound insulation. The secure compound has a security booth, and the gate staff were pleasant and welcoming. They can open the room’s garage door remotely, which was very practical. We liked the concept of having private, secure covered parking beneath each room. Ours was spacious, with a very large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had plenty of space and a spa-style shower. We didn’t use the terrace, but it was a good size and had no vis-à-vis. There were a few things that could be better: the interesting bathroom sink had no shelves for basic toiletries, some silicone in the shower was quite mouldy, and the bench at the foot of the bed had several holes in its top. One bedside table had damaged paint, and there was just one coat hanger in the wardrobe.

I wasn’t a fan. The hotel is in an industrial area, the grounds weren’t maintained, and walking in felt like entering a prison. There was nobody around besides us, and our sliding door wouldn’t lock. The bathroom ceiling and the corners of the tub had black mold. The woman who checked us in wasn’t welcoming and didn’t speak English, which added to how impersonal the hotel felt. There’s only one nearby restaurant. The food there was good, but expensive.

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and beautiful, with a lovely interior. The location was beautiful too, and the stay turned out even better than I expected.

We just needed a place to spend one night along the road, and we loved our stay. The room was large and very clean, with a king-size bed and private parking. It probably isn’t a good fit for families with children.
