We spent five days at Quinta dos Sapos, and it ended up being the highlight of our three-week Portugal road trip. We felt so at home that we'd really like to return someday. The place works beautifully for families or couples. With a car, beaches, shopping, Algarve towns, Slide & Splash waterpark and Silves are all within about a 20-minute drive, with Silves town center just five minutes away. A real home away from home.

The pool is great, and the whole place feels thoughtfully put together, with lots of character and attention to detail. It's a lovely spot to unwind. You do need a car since there's not much nearby, and now and then the road noise can be a little annoying, though it's a minor thing.
