Cascais Boutique Apartment

We rented this from Saturday to Tuesday, but left on Monday for another apartment and gave up the last night because the place was so bad. The flat looked nothing like the pictures. The bathtub was rusty, and broken wooden floors were covered with blankets. There was cutlery for two or three people at most, though four could stay, and we weren’t told that someone would have to sleep on a sofa bed. There were hardly any kitchen utensils, so we had to buy a coffee maker and something to eat bread with in the mornings. We had to move the living room table into the hallway because the living room was also a bedroom; otherwise we’d wake people, and the setup blocked the way in and out of the house and kitchen. Cleaning was just enough to avoid asking for a refund. We’re not especially fussy, and the people with us were fine with order and staying there as long as they could sleep, but even that was barely possible.
