Apartment in centre of Cascais with amazing views

The hotel needs renovation. The rooms look old and dated, and it seems they haven’t been refreshed in a long time. We were leaving for the airport at 5 AM and asked reception twice to prepare a small takeaway breakfast. Both times they assured us it would be ready. In the morning, though, the man at reception said there was nothing available. We took a few yogurts and asked him to bring some fruit, which he eventually did. It was an unpleasant experience and left us with a negative final impression. I also want to mention the dark-haired young woman who was on reception the evening of May 27, 2025. She was friendly and polite, always looking neat and well-groomed, and her attitude really stood out in a good way.

A beautiful hotel in Cascais, in a good location, with friendly staff. I had a wonderful stay and would come back.

The staff are very helpful, and the internet works well. It’s right in the centre of Cascais, where nearby restaurants can be noisy, but that’s part of staying in a busy, touristy city centre. Breakfast is decent for the price, and the staff are very friendly. I’d definitely return.

The sound carries everywhere. You can hear the street, people in other rooms, even when they’re using the toilet, and cleaning staff talking loudly in the corridor and banging doors. From the second floor, you can hear breakfast being prepared, and there’s a constant noise from the electrical box in the cabin. If you’re a light sleeper like me, forget this place. The towels seemed clean, but smelled like they came from nonna’s house, and that scent stayed on my skin after drying off. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable, and my husband didn’t like the sheets’ quality. The parking they offer is tiny and costs $15 a day. For a 3-star hotel, the price wasn’t especially cheap. We’ve stayed at other 3- and 2-star places in Portugal that were impeccable. For me, this is an absolute no.
