The location is perfect, just a few metres from the beach. Restaurants and a winery are literally less than 30 seconds away. The staff were kind and attentive, the room was quite clean and tidy, and having access to a kitchen was useful. The shower pressure and temperature stayed steady. There’s a trade-off with being so close to lively places: street noise comes through even with the windows shut. The building has been renovated, but the sound insulation hasn’t done the job. Noise carries inside too. You can hear the main door buzzing whenever someone opens it and banging shut, people on the stairs, in the kitchen, opening and closing room doors, and talking in rooms on your floor. The doors and interior walls don’t block much sound. The exterior shutters are damaged and don’t close properly, so light comes in at night and in the morning. Bring an eye mask. There’s only one outlet in the room, away from the bed, so you’ll need to unplug the lamps or use the bathroom outlet. Also, lots of water escapes past the shower door onto the bathroom floor, more than the shower towel can handle.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was lovely overall, with beautiful decor and furniture. It’s right in central Cascais, so the street can get a little noisy. A few things need attention too: the bathroom tap was loose, and the shower didn’t drain properly. That’s why I couldn’t give it five stars.

We had a brilliant five-night stay. The place was lovely, the room clean and tidy, and the staff very friendly. You’re only about two minutes from the beach, with the centre around a five-minute walk away and little streets right on your doorstep. The only real downside was how little space there was between the bed and wardrobe, which made the wardrobe hard to open. I also missed having a balcony with seating, so next time we’d ask for one. I’d highly recommend it.

After a day at the beach, we came back to find the shower broken. Nobody fixed it, and we had to stay in a room without a shower. They also didn’t answer our calls. I’d definitely avoid this place.

Talita was so sweet and helpful, and the place was very clean. It’s in a great spot, with lots of cute little restaurants along the street. Loved it!
