The hotel team gave us such a thoughtful welcome when we came to celebrate our son's birthday. That made the occasion feel even more special. Ana Arefin and Buis also made breakfast a pleasure each morning, with their kindness, attention, and positive energy. We'd chosen this hotel for the second time, and again loved the unforgettable ocean views and its spot in the historic centre of Cascais. The service has been consistently wonderful. Thank you for another memorable visit. We're already looking forward to coming back.

Breakfast was a real treat, with lots of choice and freshly made omelettes available. We were also right by the marina and just a step from the town centre, which made the location hard to beat. Our large, well-appointed room had a good-sized balcony with a side sea view, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. All the staff we met were friendly and efficient. We'd gladly stay again and recommend it.

The room I got after an upgrade was quiet and spacious, and I loved having a choice of pillows. It was very clean, with fresh linens, and the staff were thoughtful and friendly. Thanks to Thiago at the main desk for all his help. The hotel was clean, with good facilities and a nice indoor pool. The outdoor pool takes a bit of effort to reach, but it was still nice to have. Breakfast was okay, and the view was incredible. The location was perfect for getting around on foot. I'd stay at the Pestana again on my next trip to Cascais.

Loved the striking entrance through the fortress archway, and the square inside has a couple of places to eat, art galleries, and a presidential palace. It's an unusual hotel, built within a 15th-century fortress. We stayed for 12 days in a standard room overlooking the garden area. It was quiet and comfortable, though some of the fittings are showing their age. Every staff member gave superb service. We really enjoyed our break.

What made the stay special was how well the staff looked after us. Ana, Ayoub, and Louis gave first-class service at breakfast, where there was a great selection and beautiful scenery to enjoy each morning. From our first welcome onward, everyone we met was friendly, professional, and focused on guests. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, an impressive bathroom, a great shower, and strong water pressure. We had a lovely view of the main square of the Cidadela, and it was remarkably peaceful at night. The indoor and outdoor pools were a welcome bonus, too. The location is fabulous for exploring Cascais, with stunning views. We had a memorable visit and would recommend Pestana Cidadela. Many thanks to the whole team.
