Wine Inn Cascais

Florinda is so kind, and the housekeeping is great. Everything gets cleaned really well every day.

The location worked perfectly for the Ironman 70.3 Cascais start, and we were right by restaurants and the beach. The pizzeria downstairs was amazing. Our room was clean, and we got the entry codes ahead of time. The bathroom stayed damp and the floor was soaking wet, which I hated. It was also noisy late at night and early in the morning. We picked the hotel because there weren't many options left, but it felt a bit expensive for just a room in an apartment with a private bathroom.

We arrived late and left early, thankfully. On the night of September 1, 2023, I stayed in one of the rooms with some friends. We went to brush our teeth, and when water got on the mirror, we wiped it with a tissue. A huge cockroach came out from behind it!

The location's good, about a 2-minute walk from the center of Cascais and the beach. It's an apartment where they rent out rooms, with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and small living room. It wasn't bad, though €50 a night seems a bit much for a room in an apartment.
