It looks quite modest from outside, but opens up into a spacious, lovely place to unwind and enjoy warm Portuguese evenings by the pool.

The countryside around this place is fantastic, and everyone was really friendly. I’d absolutely recommend staying here to friends and family.

We enjoyed the house and its outdoor space, including the pool, for a few restful days. The owner was friendly and helpful, but I wasn’t comfortable with his repeated, unexpected entries into the house. It wouldn’t take much to announce himself first, by phone or simply by ringing the bell. When you rent a holiday home, you pay to feel at ease there.

We had a lovely stay. The house had all the comforts we needed, and we ate our meals in the pleasant outdoor area by the pool. Sr. João was very friendly and always available.
