We needed somewhere for the night at the last minute and were lucky to find this hotel. The man at the desk was kind and handled the booking efficiently. The rooms were really clean and had everything we needed. It's fairly close to the bus terminal, about a 30-minute walk or 10 minutes by car. Breakfast was included, and we even had air conditioning and a balcony. We were very grateful and happy with our stay 💛
It's a shame that such a nice, clean place with good value is run by people who are so unpleasant. The cleaning staff were kind and efficient, but the male receptionist was terrible at communicating. He seemed almost rude, avoided speaking or answering, didn't say a single bon dia, and looked away when I spoke to him. Management shouldn't hire someone like that when most Portuguese workers are so nice and respectful. I wouldn't recommend it.
If you're in Castelo Branco for work, this is a good bed and breakfast to know about. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with TV, WiFi, a private bathroom, towels, linens, blankets, pillows, and air conditioning. They let us bring our small dog into the room and stay with us, which was great. Reception staff are helpful and ready for check-in or check-out at any time, 24 hours a day. Just be aware, this residential is closed on Saturdays.
I loved everything else about this hotel. The room was cozy and very nice, with AC and a sauna. My only issue was the blanket quality, and I still found the room a little cold even with the AC on.
The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. My only issue was the bathroom, especially the bathtub. It's not very comfortable if you're a big person 😕
