Casa Do Rio Wine Hotel
Located among the organic vineyards of Quinta do Vallado, in the Upper Douro, Casa do Rio is a secluded retreat of breathtaking beauty. An invitation to slow down and experience nature in its purest form. Situated between the vineyards and the river, the main house offers stunning views over the Douro. Guests can enjoy carefully prepared meals, wine tastings, and a selection of land and river activities, creating a truly unforgettable stay immersed in the landscape. Casa do Rio also has a small restaurant, exclusive to guests and available by reservation. All meals are prepared with vegetables and fruits from our organic garden, complemented by the finest regional products. The project was conceived by Francisco Vieira de Campos, the architect responsible for the Hotel and Winery at Quinta do Vallado.
