Casas Do Palheiro Velho

There's plenty of room to unwind in this large quinta, and the garden has several lovely spots. The rooms are very quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The shower could use an update, though the water gets hot and the pressure is fine. Meals are generous and tasty. Breakfast is prepared in a rather strange way, with far too much wrapping paper around the dishes we ordered. I would have preferred fewer disposable dishes. Even so, we had a very pleasant stay.

Domingo made us feel right at home, and we had a great few days disconnecting. We loved the area and the accommodation, especially the unusual, varied breakfast that was included in the price. I fell in love with their cats. I do think they could be cared for and fed a little better 🙏. They're animals that want affection, and we absolutely adored them. I'd recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a rural setting 😌.

I stayed here with my son and husband. It was comfortable and felt like we were being looked after, with a hearty breakfast and easy walks nearby. The beaches are only a 10-20 minute drive away. If you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday away from the bustle of everyday life, this is an ideal place. Recommended.

Domingo, the owner, was incredibly attentive and friendly, and we had a wonderful time. The place is very quiet, with parking, a magnificent terrace, and a pool. Our room was spotless and fully equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was spectacular, plentiful, and made with great quality food. Perfect location. Highly recommended.
