I came away with mixed feelings. The place itself really is magnificent, and the photos show what you’ll find there. But the fruit trees around it are regularly sprayed with chemicals, something the pictures don’t tell you. They were toxic enough to cause allergies and discomfort for me and my child, which made it hard to enjoy our stay even though I liked being there. If that’s not a concern for you, you’ll probably love it. It felt like paradise and hell in the same spot.

An orchard setting with lovely views across the hills and estuaries makes this boutique hotel especially picturesque. For both the location and value for money, I’d give it 10/10.

Sofia, one of the owners, is wonderful, and her sons Diogo and Nono became great friends with my children Matheus and Dani during our stay in 2024. It’s a lovely place and a blessed family. I recommend it.
