The care and organization throughout Verdelago made our stay seamless and relaxing. A heartfelt thank you to Jéssica at Reception and the tireless David at Alecrim Pool Bar for their warmth, kindness, and attention, especially the patience and dedication they showed our children. We stayed with our family and had a truly wonderful time. Congratulations to the whole team on an impressive project. Even at this early stage, it already shows enormous potential and exceptional quality. We were particularly impressed by the food and beverage offering, the housekeeping team’s professionalism and care, the excellent maintenance, and the beautiful landscaping, clearly developed with respect for the surrounding natural environment despite the resort’s scale. A little recommendation from us at Mancini Property Management: Verdelago Resort is worth a visit if you’re after somewhere calm, refined, and a bit more authentic in the Algarve. Between Altura and Praia Verde, it has open space, lovely surroundings, and direct access to one of the Algarve’s most stunning beaches. It’s a great spot for a relaxed lunch or a slow dinner by the sea, with simple, high-quality food and just the right atmosphere. There was an enormous construction site when we visited, and service was very poor throughout our stay. We often heard other guests complain about the service at the bar or restaurant. After my husband got food poisoning from a tuna salad at the resort, we raised it with them. They said they’d investigate and tell us the results, but they never did.

An absolutely incredible resort that feels like home. There are plenty of activities nearby, three grocery stores less than a 5-minute drive away, Spain is 10 minutes away, and there are lots of golf courses around.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at Verdelago Resort with our 2.5-year-old daughter. It’s beautifully set in nature, and everyone made us feel welcome. The service was excellent, and breakfast each day was a highlight, fresh, varied, and delicious. A perfect place to unwind and spend quality family time. Highly recommended, and very luxurious.
