10/10
I really liked the spacious room, big bathroom, and cute terrace. The location was great. Breakfast was a buffet and decent, although I'd rather eat at a cafe. There were breads, Portugal croissants, jams, cornflakes with milk, yogurt, harm and cheese, cake, peach from a jar, and fresh bananas and oranges.

The service was good, and breakfast was well worth having. But the hotel feels past its prime, like it may have been a hot spot 15-20 years ago. The design hasn't caught up, and there were quite a few stains on the room carpet. Even though the cars were three floors below us, we could hear them crossing the cobblestones through the single-glazed windows.

It was clean and good value, but a lot of things feel old and could use updating. The pillows were awful, the mattress was lumpy, and the towels were really worn.

The furniture looked old-fashioned, but the rooms were very clean and felt cosy. The place was nicely equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it's near the city center, about a 10-minute walk from the bus station to Porto.

Everything was impeccably clean, and the hotel was quiet and centrally located. The staff were friendly.
