Dare Lisbon House

In Baixa, just a couple of blocks from Chiado, this is a nice place with amazing staff. Everyone was friendly and helped make the stay more enjoyable, from booking assistance to tips on places around the city. The rooms have small kitchens, and breakfast is a prepare-it-yourself setup. They provide the ingredients and take care of the cleanup, including the dishwasher. There's fresh bread each morning, plus fruit, cereal, and eggs. I enjoyed starting the day that way, though it may not suit everyone.

Tânia was especially kind and helpful, and the whole team made me feel welcome. Thanks to all of you for making my time in Lisbon so enjoyable. The hotel has a beautiful interior and a great central location. It was surprisingly quiet, though there was occasional street noise, which is normal in such a central spot.

I like that the hotel is so well maintained, even though it isn't new. Everything worked well. The bathroom is compact and stylish, with strong ventilation and a shower that didn't leak, and the room felt much larger. Having separate cooking and sleeping areas was a good idea, and the two AC units kept things comfortable without making noise. For two people there might be too much bread. I'd have preferred more pastries and less bread, or perhaps some cream cheese or ham for sandwiches.

Even in the middle of a lively tourist area, our apartment was a peaceful little escape and wonderfully quiet. We loved our stay at Dare Lisbon. The design is stunning, almost like staying in an art gallery, with thoughtful details and great taste throughout. We'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon. 🤍
