The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made me feel right at home. I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful manor in northern Portugal. The peaceful setting lets you really enjoy the house, and the sense of stepping back in time made the experience feel extraordinary. Breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start the day. Nearby villages have plenty of lunch and dinner options, and the hotel staff are happy to share recommendations. I’d love to come back soon!

We had a balcony room with a view of Monte Farinha. A bottle of port wine and a few snacks made it wonderfully relaxing. The Casa is beautifully designed with attention to detail and very well kept. Staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel completely at home, and the lovingly prepared breakfast was generous and delicious. Its location works well as a base for tours around inland Portugal, as well as a retreat after a busy day. We highly recommend Casa de Canedo for a relaxing holiday in Portugal.

The grounds are spacious, well kept and have a romantic feel, a lovely setting for relaxing in peace. Our room, "Quarto das Laranjeiras," was cozy, clean and in good condition, and we received a very warm welcome. There’s a well-maintained bike path beside the property, with bikes available to rent on-site. Breakfast was beautifully presented and came with fresh orange juice. We were very satisfied.

The breakfast buffet was incredible, and the service was a 10/10, so attentive. This is a beautiful, well-kept place decorated in an 18th-century style, with a swimming pool, billiards and a badminton court. Great for switching off and relaxing. Everything was wonderful!

A historic place with a really welcoming feel. Everything was fantastic, from the carefully maintained cleanliness to the caregivers’ kindness and friendliness. The surrounding area is wonderful too, with a pool and gardens. It felt like a journey back in time.
