The staff were friendly and kind, but the service was poor, and the hotel has a lot of potential that was let down. Try for a room overlooking the “pyramid” mountain. Our room was fine, though the bathroom door would be my first change. It's just a glass sliding door, so it doesn't block sound or smells, which not everyone is comfortable with when sharing. The outdoor pool had only 3 sun shades and about 16 pool chairs. I'm not trying to be dramatic, but the shortage of shade was shocking. If the hotel were full, only 8 rooms would have somewhere to lie down, even though there's plenty of room for more chairs. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. There wasn't much variety, the display looked poor, and some items seemed dry and sad. They had no butter. I'm sorry, but that just can't happen. Saying, “our supplier was meant to come yesterday but hasn’t” isn't good enough. Order more in advance. Poor management.

The location worked well, with the city centre within walking distance, and we liked the modern design and very clean room. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread, and the outdoor pool was just the right size. But several things let us down: the steam shower and sauna were out of order, the room fridge didn't work, and the air conditioning couldn't be switched between heat and cold. Reception told us they controlled it and wouldn't change the setting, so we had to put up with the temperature the hotel chose. I've never encountered that before, and I strongly disagree with the policy. It also felt like maintenance was lacking. Sadly, this fell short of our expectations. We've stayed at much better hotels, including some nearby.

We paid 156 Euros for the room and stayed two days, but it was a disappointing waste of money. The toilet had been left dirty by the previous guests, the room itself wasn't clean, and both the shower and mini fridge were broken. We had to store our things in the hotel's fridge. Reception said the fridge would be fixed the next day, but nobody followed up. The spa was absolutely filthy, as the photos show. I've complained to Flag World hotels and have had no response. This place is not four star.

The rooms were very small and in very poor condition, with glass that seemed paper thin. The spa was tiny, and the sauna wasn't working properly. This doesn't feel like a 4☆ hotel.
