Quinta de Carcavelos Agroturismo e Enoturismo

We were so fond of our five-night family stay in August 2022, with our two children, that we're coming back in 2026 for 18 nights. The owners were lovely, the accommodation was beautiful, and there are plenty of things to do nearby. The house has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom and toilet, and a living room with everything we needed. It also has air conditioning, which is especially welcome in summer. We particularly enjoyed the estate's own wines, which I highly recommend. There's a small green seating area outside where you can relax in peace, and the owner showed our children his donkey. Children are genuinely welcome and can roam around freely. It's also well placed for outings. Praia Fluvial de Celorico de Basto is about a 10-minute drive away for a swim and a cool-down. Penha and Guimarães are each around 50 minutes away and well worth seeing, and Amarante Water Park is within 25 km. For us, this is an easy 5 out of 5, especially for families.
