We liked the room and its balcony, though we would’ve preferred two chairs. Next time we’ll just ask for another one. The staff were lovely and friendly, and breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. We had to extend our stay by a night at the last minute, and it was handled without any hassle. There are bars and restaurants nearby, and it’s a short walk to the beautiful riverside. Our first impression was good, too, with helpful parking advice.

There was mould on the bathroom ceiling, and the shower was so slippery I nearly fell. My girlfriend did slip despite being careful and hit her head. The toilet was also about two inches from the sink, so there wasn’t room to sit down. Parking and staff were fine, but

I’ve stayed here a couple of times before and have always had a good experience. The customer service is great, and the hotel is very close to the town centre. It’s especially handy if you’re coming for the nearby thermal treatment. Highly recommended.

The staff were nice and the location was very good, but the hotel and its amenities are quite old, and the cleaning is generally poor. We were given a double room, then noticed in bed that the sheets seemed and looked dirty. We told the front desk, and they immediately moved us to another room. No complaint about how they handled that.

A convenient, inexpensive three-star hotel with a central location, good for anyone visiting Chaves.
