The views are great, and the hotel itself is very nice. The spa and gym were especially good.

The interior was beautiful, and there were plenty of parking spaces. My room was clean and the breakfast was tasty. The TV is small and only has cable, though I barely consider that a downside. I recommend it.

The view was amazing, and everything felt lovely and clean. Breakfast, though, seemed a bit too simple for this kind of hotel and could have had a little more choice.

4/10
The casino felt empty and lifeless, with old slot machines, and the breakfast was bland and repetitive. The service also made me feel as if I was a bother just for being there. The rooms were poorly maintained, and the staff were polite only when it suited them. Hotel Casino Chaves is nowhere near a proper 4-star stay. I found no comfort, warmth, or real hospitality, and it wasn't worth the money.

10/10
We went in winter, and it was a really nice stay. The spa was relaxing, while the pool and gym were handy if you want to get some exercise. The restaurant deserves 5 stars for its very good food. The views from every room were lovely, and the people there were always helpful and willing to do whatever they could. I had no complaints.
