Estefania made us feel at home with her warmth and hospitality, and the hotel’s charming, authentic atmosphere suited Coimbra’s historic character. We chose it for its excellent location near the University of Coimbra and stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and breakfast was very good. My wife has a gluten restriction, so they prepared a special breakfast for her. She was delighted with it. The stairs could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues, though hills and stairs are common in Coimbra. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the city.

The room was very clean, with a spacious, comfortable bathroom, and breakfast was good. The staff were really nice, especially Fabrina and Joice. It’s near the university but quite far from the old city. There’s no elevator, so getting luggage up was a little difficult.

The entrance was hard to find when we arrived at night in the rain, so ask for clear directions ahead of time. Apart from that, Coimbra Monumentais B&B was a nice, affordable place to stay while passing through Coimbra. The room was clean and very nice, and breakfast had a delightful range of choices. It’s within walking distance of the University and other sights. On arrival, they recommended Papas restaurant, just a block down the street, and we had the best service and dinner there.

The room was clean, though a bit small, and the WiFi signal wasn’t great. The walls are thin, so you can hear the neighbours easily. Breakfast had a big selection, with staff cooking fresh eggs and bacon. The location is amazing, just two minutes from the university.

The family-like feel made the week especially nice. Our room had a stylish, very nice bathroom, comfortable beds, and fresh renovations. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. Everything worked out perfectly. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
