Vila Julieta Guesthouse

The rooms are lovely, with fresh flowers and blackout windows, and it's so quiet you can really rest. The shower was comfortable, with good heat and pressure, and breakfast was very good. Sonia and Jonah were amazing hosts, warm and helpful, and clearly wanted guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. The location works well, with just a few minutes' walk down to the center. For the uphill walk back, I'd use Bolt. We stayed at a lot of places during our Portugal vacation, and this was my favorite by far. Absolutely recommend it.

We were so happy here and wished we could've stayed longer. The room was clean, pretty, and modern, with fresh flowers and shampoo, conditioner, and body cream in the shower. The bed was comfortable and had a blackout option for sleeping. The staff were really friendly and ready to help, and shared extra ideas for things to do in the city. 1000/10 for sure.

The breakfast was lovely, and we'd definitely stay again. Vila Julieta was a real gem in Coimbra, with beautiful, clean rooms that have recently been modernized and fantastic hospitality. It's a bit uphill, so staying here gives you a free workout. But you're in the old town quickly, about a 10-minute walk down to a pedestrian street. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The location made it easy to get to everything, but it was still quiet enough to relax. There’s a lovely outdoor area, plus a great pastry shop and minimarket within 100 metres. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming that we felt at home, and they spoke English, Portuguese, and other languages too. Breakfast was delicious, healthy, and outstanding. The building has a beautiful modern style, and our bed was comfortable with a spacious bathroom. We’ll be back!
