Paulo's care made this stay stand out. He welcomed us warmly, showed us around town, suggested restaurants, called ahead for us, and was easy to reach whenever we had a question or needed help. His kindness, clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail felt completely genuine. I've stayed in luxury hotels that offered less thoughtful service. I was traveling alone on business, but Constância Guest House is somewhere I'd gladly return to with family or friends. Constância is a beautiful little riverside village, with good restaurants and welcoming people. The rooms and apartments were all very clean, comfortable, and well kept. The house has two private rooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as two studio apartments with fully functioning kitchens. The website doesn't make that layout entirely clear. If you have questions before your visit, email the business directly. Paulo replies quickly and goes out of his way to help. I've stayed in guest houses and hotels across the United States and Europe, but none compares to this one. I'll absolutely stay here again when I return to Portugal.
