The breakfast was outstanding, and on a hot day the pool and complimentary drink were just as welcome. Paulo is a fabulous host, and the guesthouse is a real gem. The beautifully restored house has so much charm, balanced by the comfortable yard and garden. Everything was clean and comfortable, with lovely attention to the details. One of my favorite places to stay on our two-month trip.

Paulo made this the best stay I’ve ever had. He met us at breakfast each morning, checked on us and offered us things. He’s warm, polite and always helpful, and we’ve become friends and will stay in touch. We were in Coruche for a week of business and chose the hotel after researching before the trip. The location is great, close to the beach, with places to eat within walking distance. You can stroll in the morning and watch the fishermen, and park nearby without paying a fee. The rooms are amazing, everything is clean, and there are lovely smells throughout. The bed, pillows, sheets and towels were all immaculate. If you’re in Coruche, you should stay here.

The breakfast was generous and beautifully presented, and we were warmly welcomed. This charming old house sits in Coruche’s historic quarter and has recently been restored with care, using local materials. Inside, it’s furnished with lovely antique pieces of Portuguese origin. An excellent place!
