About this property
Two entire granite houses with a capacity for 20 people located in the heart of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, in the middle of the heart of nature in the beautiful and enigmatic high mountain. Unique location with waterfalls at the doorstep.
It is located 7 km from the city of Covilhã, which has supermarkets and restaurants, 3 km from the village of Penhas da Saúde, which also has restaurants, and 10 km from Torre where the ski slopes are located.
Guest Access
The houses are large and made of granite. All rooms have oil heaters. The kitchen has a gas heater. The living rooms have two fireplaces and a wood stove. Access to the park is easy but we advise driving with caution and slowly.
Other Things to Note
A firewood kit will be provided for the first night. For the following nights, we ask for a contribution of 25€ for firewood.

Waking up and taking a dip in the clear, fresh water beside the house is such a lovely way to start the day. At night, a cozy fire is great when it rains. The place is surrounded by nature and was a really cool place to stay. Ana was a wonderful host, so kind and helpful with everything. I’m looking forward to going back!

It’s a quiet, peaceful spot beside the steam and waterfalls, with easy access to the mountains. A lovely place to get away. The host is helpful and nice, and I’ll definitely come back.

Ana and Paulo were very friendly hosts, along with their two lovely serra da estrelas. At 1500 meters, the rustic house is close to waterfalls and beautiful scenery, with peaceful walks in nature nearby. It’s full of homage to JLB. I’d suggest updating the kitchen utensils, especially for guests who cook. Greetings.
