The food alone would bring me back, everything was cooked just right with plenty of care and local ingredients. Dornes feels like a peaceful refuge, quiet and stunningly beautiful. Our stay was distinctive, with a level of hospitality that really stood out. I can see myself returning to this little kingdom again and again.

We got a real taste of rural life here. The food was beautiful and organic, and the fish came straight from the river. What an experience.

Everything else was fabulous, but to me the price was more than 40% too high.

That night by the fireplace, with the reservoir view and such a comfortable room, was perfect. Dornes itself charmed me too, so calm and surrounded by unique nature. Staying at Reinado de Dom Dinis made the whole place feel even more enchanting. Marta, Mariana and João welcomed me so warmly and were incredibly attentive and kind. Marta put so much care into breakfast and lunch that I already wanted to come back. I don't have the words for how lovely the stay was. Thank you so much for that moment!

The hosts are what make O Reinado D.Dinis so special. Their care made me feel genuinely looked after, and the welcome was warm throughout. The place itself brings rustic authenticity together with refinement, with comfortable spaces that feel peaceful and private while fitting naturally into the surrounding scenery. O Reinado D. Dinis is a memorable, almost magical stay, and a special destination.
