The garden, with its flowers and fruit trees, is gorgeous, and the house itself is lovely. The pool was spotless and just right for cooling off on a hot day. We had a great time chatting with the owner over a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, and lovely coffee. He welcomed me and my friends so warmly and told some amazing travel stories. Even the dog added to the atmosphere, friendly and playful. I had an amazing stay at “Quinta da Fortaleza”. Definitely five stars.

We had two rooms for our family and were very comfortable. Everything was really clean. The setting is beautiful, even if my photos don't do it justice, and we enjoyed using the pool and exploring the fields and fruit trees around the property. Breakfast was great too, with fresh orange juice, yogurt, and pastries.

That infinity pool was such a treat, and we really appreciated it. The place feels like a super home, simple and comfortable, with everything clean and tidy. Set in a peaceful natural landscape, it's a magical hidden spot. The host welcomes you with a respectful smile and such kindness.
