Apartment Ribeira d Ilhas

The apartment is well located and has a wonderful sea view. It’s equipped with all the basic appliances, including a microwave, washing machine, and iron. The kitchen also has some basic food, spices, and utensils. The cleanliness and overall condition were disappointing. The bathroom wasn’t clean, there was dirt in the corners, and some fresh bed linens felt sticky, which was unpleasant. The windows aren’t close to airtight, so you feel the breeze inside as soon as it picks up. The heating is nearly useless too. Even on the highest setting, it only gets lukewarm and doesn’t warm the room. I’d say it could work for a larger group, such as surfers, who want affordable accommodation and don’t expect much luxury, especially if they’ll spend most of their holiday outdoors.
