The shared areas and rooms were always kept clean, warm and welcoming by the kind owner and her daughters during my three-week stay. I've stayed in lots of hostels, and this was by far the cleanest and most comfortable for me. There are several bathrooms too, so you don't have to keep waiting for a shower. Best hostel in Ericeira.

The owner was super nice and helped us with a late check-in. It's a cool surfer spot, and apart from a few issues, we had a great stay. Our room was extremely noisy, and you could hear absolutely everything happening in the bathroom. There also aren't enough bathrooms for all the guests, so the queues can be really long. Thank you!

A nice place to unwind and cook while getting to know a few new people. It's close to everything you need and to the surf. We had a great stay, and the owner and her daughter are lovely.

We had a clean, airy room with a great view, and the host was very friendly. It's right beside a large supermarket, with several beaches and good surf spots within walking distance. It worked well for us as a couple looking for somewhere relaxed, and for travellers who like meeting others. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The owner was helpful, and the place looks nice from outside, but it was the most expensive stay we had in 12 days in Portugal. In Tomar we paid the same for a five-star hotel, and in Lisboa we found a very good one for less. For that price, the big gap in the door was unacceptable. The place is okay, but poor value for money.
