The house was kept immaculate by the cleaning staff, who blitzed the kitchen and bathroom every day. Espinho surf house is in a great spot, one street from the seafront and plenty of cafes. The train station is three streets away, and a ticket from Porto costs under €3. I was a complete beginner when I booked a surf holiday, but Paulo, Sandro, Vasco, and Ricardo were supportive instructors, and I enjoyed my lessons every day. I'd strongly recommend staying here for a hostel visit or surf trip. I plan to come back.

Paulo and Ricardo were super friendly and helpful hosts. You can see the beach from your room, and the surf house is ideally located. The surf school is next door, with a small changing room just off the street for guests. Extra pillows, fresher bathrooms, and maybe a sink in the rooms would improve the place. Still, it's worth staying if you need somewhere to crash after a day surfing.
