I've been staying here for four years when visiting the company I work with in the area, whether I'm going to the office or hosting clients. The rooms are clean, comfortable and great, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. There's a lot of choice at breakfast, and the bar and restaurant food is great too. Laundry is quick and very affordable. The location works well for Espinho, Porto and Nova Gaia. I've tried many hotels in the area, and this is by far my favorite. It's affordable, convenient and comfortable.

The staff were fantastic, very polite and always willing to help, even if they didn't always know the answer. The breakfast was nice, with good variety, and the room where it's served is bright and spacious. The sauna was nice too. The rest felt shabby and dated for a place calling itself five star. Outside it looks like a prison block, and inside it's dark and dingy. Food was very mediocre for the price. The pool area lacked the style you'd expect, and there's no jacuzzi. Access costs 25€ per person for 30 minutes. The rooms were okay, but the carpets didn't seem clean. We kept sneezing from the dust, as if they hadn't been properly cleaned in a while. The bathroom was tiny and very dated. There are no modern USB ports, so bring your chargers.

It's a bit dated and relatively far from Porto, but the hotel is comfortable and has great food and service. The seaside location is lovely if you enjoy walking paths by the beach. The spa services are top notch.

You can hear everything from the neighboring rooms because there are connecting doors that can be opened. The beds and pillows are poor, things are broken, and there's mold in the bathrooms. The hotel feels very old, with no renovation or upgrade since it was built. Maybe it deserved five stars when it first opened, but those days are long gone. There's no compensation for the conditions either. I'd strongly suggest finding another hotel.

A quiet hotel for a vacation, about a 15-minute drive from Porto. We really enjoyed the path down to the beach.
