The pool and outdoor seating were charming, and everything felt clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. Christine was such a lovely host, always happy to help. The location worked really well on the Camino, close to a grocery store, the riverwalk, and several good restaurants. I’d happily stay again.

I only had one night here while walking the Camino, and really wished I’d booked longer. This little oasis is tucked into the streets of Fão. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, and I loved the rain shower. Christina went out of her way to make guests comfortable and share local tips. And Suki, the German Shepherd, is incredibly gentle and sweet. I’d be very glad to come back.

We arrived without a booking in the off season, drenched after a full day of rain and carrying our bikes. Christina welcomed us right away, put our wet gear in the dryer, and offered us warm coffee and tea. She really saved the day. The place was great, and I bet the pool is lovely when the weather’s warmer.

Fão is a characterful little town, with the natural attractions of the Northern Portugal coast close by. We spent two very comfortable, happy nights at Villa dos Corcéis, where the rooms sit around a peaceful garden and small pool. Breakfast was very good, too. Our host gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful throughout.

We felt relaxed and really pleased with our stay. The owner had our room ready when we arrived around 11:30 and let us check in well before 2pm, which was so kind. You can tell this guest house has a lot of care behind it. It feels quite different from an industrial hotel, and the owners pay real attention to their guests. I’d definitely recommend this lovely place.
