It feels peaceful and rural here, but Ferragudo and Carvoeiro are still very close. The golf course is nearby as well. The community is one of Pestana’s newer developments, with apartments and semi-detached villas that have private pools. There’s also a shared pool, and a restaurant is planned for the site.

If you’re after peace and quiet, this is a lovely place to stay. We had an amazing time, and the apartment had everything we needed. The balcony furniture was really comfortable too. We were on the first floor, with the sea out front and mountains behind us, and received such a warm welcome. I did suggest adding handrails to the stairs. One set is on the last three steps from the street, and another leads up to the apartment. Handrails would make both trips up and down easier and safer.

The accommodation is truly beautiful, and the staff are so friendly. It had only been open for a few months when we visited, so everything was new and clean. There weren’t many people around at the time, which made it nice and quiet.
