Nice views from the room, and the rooms themselves were clean and cozy. The staff were friendly, and there are indoor games available, including ping pong.

The rooms were clean and presentable, and breakfast was an enjoyable continental spread with something for everyone. What really made the stay, though, was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful, especially the lovely ladies at reception. The only small drawback was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

The breakfast was terrible and very limited. The coffee machine made instant coffee with sugar in it, whether I chose black coffee or cappuccino. The bread was hard and clearly not fresh, and the scrambled eggs were inedible. We stayed two nights, and the first evening we ate at the hotel restaurant. The waitress couldn’t understand a single word of English. It was also surprising how many staff didn’t speak English, and the place seemed short staffed. There wasn’t anyone at the bar, and when I rang the bell, the receptionist came instead. It was an unpleasant stay, and in my opinion this place barely deserves even one star, let alone a 3 star rating.

The pool was a real help in the heat, with Estremoz reaching 40-42 degrees Celsius during our stay. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Staff greeted us with smiles and were very friendly and helpful, and checkout was quick. The restaurant was closed for dinner while we were there, but the bar by the swimming pool stayed open very late and served sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers, and drinks. It did work for breakfast. Recommended.
