We were warmly welcomed by Mafalda, who gave us all the information we needed. Meeting her was a real highlight, and we had a wonderful stay. For our wedding anniversary, we were kindly upgraded and given a bottle of wine. We appreciated the gesture. The room was spacious, clean, and stocked with essentials, including a vanity kit, slippers, and a shower cap. There’s also a pool and a comfortable spot to sit with coffee or drinks. Mafalda helped us sort out parking and explained the free parking options, though we kept the paid parking during our stay. This is a refurbished 14th century establishment. The service was wonderful, and we were glad we got to meet and chat with Mafalda.

We only stayed one night and wished it could have been longer. The rooms are gorgeous, the beds are comfortable, and the courtyard is lovely. The host gave us a great welcome, and the location is right in the heart of Evora. We'd definitely stay again.

After the roads, heat, and history of Evora, this renovated 15th century mansion was a perfect place to rest. The staff were amazing, the pool was a bonus, and the rooms and beds were super comfortable. One of the best places we've found through booking.com.

Morgado is a lovingly restored historic palace in the center of the old town, with comfortable beds, kind service, and lovely views. A beautiful choice for a visit to lovely Evora. Be sure to ask about the upstairs breakfast room! :)
