We spent February and March 2020 at Bella Vita and would have stayed longer if COVID hadn't thrown the whole world into turmoil. Friends joined us in several groups, and every one of them loved Madeira and said it was the best rental villa they'd stayed in. The villa is peaceful, away from the main tourist areas, with countryside and sea views from a small village. It gives easy access to the mountains and levada walks in the island's west, while Funchal is only 30 minutes away. It's a new, modern villa, beautifully presented and equipped to an exceptionally high standard. The architect-designed interiors feel luxurious, and Diego and his team gave us friendly service well beyond what we'd normally expect.

We loved our stay at this villa. The pool is great, the interior is very modern, and the kitchen has everything you need, including super modern appliances.

The owners were lovely, and the house was very clean. We spent a week here with family and loved the experience. It's practical and well equipped, with excellent finishes. The garden is beautifully kept, and the heated pool fits naturally into the landscape. I hope we can come back soon!

Bella Vita Madeira has a breathtaking view, lovely gardens, and a pool. The quality and details felt like a five-star hotel. It's the best house I've stayed in so far, and I highly recommend it.
