Faro Cosy Guest House

A lovely, fairly private house with a good kitchen. I'd recommend it.

The owner Francisco sent all the access details and information on time, and was always reachable on WhatsApp. Self check-in went smoothly, and I was even able to arrive early. I didn't see or use the kitchen, so I can't comment on it. My single room was cosy and furnished very functionally, with a wonderfully comfortable bed where I slept really well. The shared bathroom was clean and had what I needed, and the wifi worked perfectly. I only needed the room for sleeping, and it suited me well. The roof terrace looked very inviting for relaxing. It's very central, just a few minutes' walk from the bus and train stations. I had a very pleasant stay. In the morning, the windows had quite a lot of condensation. The old wooden doors are hard to close and don't block sound well, though the lock works quite well once you get the hang of it.

The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. It's an easy short walk into town, and there is parking on nearby streets. We enjoyed our stay.

The place itself was great, clean and nicely decorated, with a good kitchen and a lovely terrace. It's close to the train station, too. I loved almost everything, but the mattress was much too soft for me. I'd also have preferred a double bed instead of a huge super king in such a small room. Thanks for a good stay, I'd recommend it.
