It was my first solo trip and my first time in a hostel, so I was a bit nervous. Everyone was friendly, and the place was really clean. The kitchen was a great amenity where I could cook and eat. I also met a very kind, pure-hearted person there who treated me so well, which I never expected. Wax Hostel turned the trip into a lifelong memory, and I’m very grateful. I’d recommend people give it a try. One thing to keep in mind, though: the rooms are tiny for a hostel. With five people, there’s barely space to move comfortably, and it isn’t exactly cheap during high season.

There was no one at reception from 6 pm until 9 am. A neighbor took my key, leaving me unable to get into my room. A receptionist arrived around 8 pm and yelled at me for 20 minutes without showing compassion, making an already stressful situation worse. She made me pay 10 euros and didn’t even try to ask the neighbor to return the key. She also threw away the fruit I’d carried from a faraway dispensatory.

The reception ladies were wonderful and very helpful. Before I arrived, they explained everything and did their best to make sure I understood how to get there and check in. It’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beach 🏖️. I had a great experience and will definitely come back 😍 Thank you 🙏

It felt peaceful here, with the lake just outside and a huge terrace where you can lounge in chairs or beanbags. After busy, adventurous days, it’s a nice spot to slow down. The place itself is clean, bright, and spacious, with decor that feels a little fancy but still simple. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and the view is something else. Self check-in was easy, and there’s a nice restaurant across the street. I’d love to return, and it also seems like a good place for remote work as a digital nomad.
