Blue Barqueta Studio is very conveniently located near the old town and Marina. The owners were friendly, accommodating and thoughtful, and the apartment was meticulously clean. They’d left food and drinks, including a bottle of wine, in the fridge for our arrival. There is a major drawback: it’s a very tiny duplex, and the bedroom is upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase. There’s no bathroom attached to the bedroom, so going up and down at night is inconvenient and feels somewhat dangerous. I wouldn’t recommend it for older people or anyone with bad knees.

We got a really warm welcome, and the apartment itself was wonderful. It’s in an amazing location in Faro. I’d definitely recommend staying here when you visit.

The owners were really nice and polite, and the studio is new, clean and beautiful. It comes with towels, various appliances and a safe for valuables. The city centre, bus station and train station are about a minute away on foot. The only downside was hearing the neighbours, though luckily ours were quiet.

The airport is about ten minutes away by taxi, around 10 euros, or just 2.35 by bus. The centre of Faro is only minutes away, and the marina, restaurants, bus station and railway station are all close by. Barqueta Studios was spotless and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a great holiday. We’d happily stay again.

Terrace Barqueta was one of the three apartments in a recently renovated old house. Inside, it feels very modern, and our apartment had everything we needed plus a small terrace. Everything was just right. Highly recommend it.
