The quiet, relaxed feel was a real plus, and our room was roomy and clean. The pool isn't huge, but it suited the number of guests and never felt busy. They assign you a breakfast table and pool loungers for your stay, so yours are always available and clean. Follow the hosts' directions when driving in. GPS may take you onto very narrow, unpaved country roads.

The hosts made us feel welcome and were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was hearty. The rooms are spacious and clean, with balconies looking out over the typical Algarvian countryside. It's beautifully set in rural Algarve, though it may be tricky to find if you don't know the area. Google Maps helped us. I'd definitely recommend Quinta Do Mochos, a lovely discovery 😁👍

The hosts were lovely and happy to suggest places to eat or visit. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise too, since country hotels of this kind don't always give it much attention. There are only a few rooms, so the place stays uncrowded. We could lounge by the pool or wander in the garden. At first it seemed far from everything, but Olhão is only about a 10-minute drive and the beach isn't much farther. It's a great spot for enjoying the Algarve sunshine without the tourist rush.
