The apartment looked spacious and nicely designed at first, but the mold and smell became impossible to ignore. It was visible through the wallpaper, on the walls and ceiling, as well as on lampshades, curtains, and in the bathroom. Even eating at the table, we could smell it everywhere. In the morning light it was much worse. We arrived late, exhausted and with children, and check-in took a long time because the person handling reception was also working in the restaurant. We had to stay the night, but slept with the windows open despite being on the ground floor facing the street and a passageway. It didn't feel safe, yet the moldy air felt more dangerous. Our child has allergies and had serious breathing trouble overnight, so we had to give him medication. This felt like a real health risk. I believe we deserve a refund, and the room shouldn't be offered to guests until the mold is properly dealt with.

The service was good, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was great. I'd highly recommend renting one of the apartments.

We were five in the family, and finding an affordable hotel is tough. This worked out really well: friendly staff, clean and nicely equipped rooms, and a great location. The beach is walkable, and there's a lovely little cafe and restaurant on site. The reception desk isn't always staffed because the same person works in the restaurant, but there's a bell to ring for help. We did have to ask for coffee pods on the second morning since they hadn't been replaced. No big deal, though. I have good things to say and would recommend it.

Dinner was delicious, and the service was attentive and very responsive to what we needed. Prices were reasonable too. My room was spacious and very clean, with a full kitchenette, a washing machine for laundry, and parking right outside.

We only booked a room, but they upgraded us to an apartment. The team and owner clearly put a lot into hospitality, and the owner seemed to work around the clock. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful, well kept, and in a good location. Breakfast was top notch. It was the best value for money we found over two weeks in Portugal, and we stayed two extra nights because it felt like home. A great pick for a few relaxed days on the coast, in a picturesque little village with good surf spots nearby.
