Bairro Alto Vintage by Homing

We waited before posting a bad review because we'd asked for explanations about the problems in the flat. The host's attitude was to ignore us, so here's what happened. As soon as we arrived, we saw a serious leak in the pipes and extensive mold damage on the living room and bathroom walls. None of this had been disclosed beforehand. On Nov. 02 2023, the "owner's daughter" knocked and said she needed to come in to check the problem. Since the “Homing” Agency (located in Largo do Rato 7A/B), where we'd picked up the keys, hadn't given us any instructions, we told her we couldn't let her in. The next day, Nov. 03 2023, the agency notified us that the private owner and a technician needed to enter for a brief inspection at 11 am. Then, around 6pm on the night of Nov. 02 2023, the owner let himself into the flat with his keys, thinking nobody was there, as his texts later said. We were inside. That was unacceptable and violated our privacy and rental contract. The state of the apartment and how carelessly this was handled caused us serious inconvenience. We tried contacting the company several times, and they said they'd provide more information and a refund. Then they disappeared.
