Hotel Genesis

The receptionist was nice and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious with plenty of bathroom supplies. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed both the food and service. It's only 150m from Fatima Pilgrimage Center. We'd stay here again if we get another chance to visit Fatima.

The attached restaurant was delicious, and it was easy to get a gluten-free meal. The menu marks which items contain gluten. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, though a bit cramped for two people with a suitcase each. We were very happy with the hotel.

The hotel is just three minutes from the city center, and the rooms are clean, cosy and comfortable, though on the small side. I stayed for one day and found the staff very polite and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were very good. I did miss having vegetables at breakfast, though I suspect that may have been the tour operator's doing rather than the hotel's.

The food was okay, and they were ready to serve more if you wanted it. The rooms are small but clean, though our bathroom had a leak and could use improvement. It's an easy walk to the Sanctuary. Some staff came across as rude, perhaps because they were very busy and the hotel was understaffed.
