The owners, Marcus and Ingrid, were lovely, friendly and always attentive whenever we needed anything. Thanks so much to both of you. We’ll definitely return! My boyfriend and I were travelling around Portugal and added one more night to our trip. It was easily the best decision, since we found a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the quiet. The modern, nicely decorated rooms all look out over vineyards and mountains. You can swim in the pool or sunbathe on the loungers, and the homemade breakfast is generous. It’s a perfect break from the city, with silence broken only by nature. Leaving was the hard part, but now we have an excuse to stay longer next time. A little paradise in Portugal! Miriam & Javier

We had a great breakfast, and Ingrid and Marcus were such welcoming hosts, responsive and attentive to every request. We spent one night at Paco de Pombeiro on our way from Braga to Douro valley. The place is calm and relaxing, with all you need for a short stay, plus a pool, plenty of parking and beautiful views of the surrounding wineries. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

I loved being surrounded by nature here, and the owner was really friendly and nice. The place is amazing, honestly hard to put my experience into words. The room was big and comfortable, and breakfast was so good I wanted to eat everything, lol. I’d definitely like to come back with my husband. ❤️❤️

Nuno and Joana, who are close to the owner, posted positive reviews attacking guests who objected to a private party. They admit they brought a sound system and alcohol, which clearly doesn't fit the promise of a peaceful country escape with quiet gardens. It's frustrating to see people close to the owner manipulate reviews like this. Guests who complained shouldn't be bullied. They should be compensated as promised, and the platform shouldn't be used to manipulate reviews.
