Vitors Village

It was really quiet in the evenings, so this could suit anyone after a peaceful break. The place is clean and convenient, and the hotel rooms are arranged to give a sense of community. Staff were very helpful, the pool was spotless, and the cleaner had even made the bed look cute. We had a great stay and used it as a base to explore nearby towns. Thank you.

We stayed in September 2025 and found it very peaceful, with warm, welcoming staff. Our premium apartment had lovely views, and both the apartment and room service were very good. The old fishing village of Ferraguddo is absolutely beautiful, and we might go back to Vitors. The half-board menu was quite limited, with two starters, three mains and three desserts. Most of the food was lovely, though sometimes we wanted something different, and fish or a bowl of pasta didn't appeal. One thing to know: chips means crisps, not fries. My husband's face when his tuna steak arrived covered in crisps, after he'd expected fries, was a picture! That hill is horrendous, especially in the heat, and particularly if you're unfit or have a health condition. We found a better walk by leaving Vitors, turning left twice toward the main road, then left again. The road is fast, loud and busy, but the views across the harbour and Ferraguddo are beautiful. You can walk all the way down to Ferraguddo market square and return the same way. Doing that walk twice a day got us really fit.

The kids' zone and games room kept our little one happily occupied during a relaxing week at Vitor Village. The staff were warm, welcoming and always ready to help, and the atmosphere stayed calm and easygoing throughout. There’s also a gym and library on site, though I didn’t get to use either this time. The restaurant felt open and inviting, but it doesn’t offer for people with dietary restrictions, such as vegan options. I hope they consider adding some in the future.

We’ve just got back on Wednesday after eight days in a one-bedroom apartment, booked through a Jet2 bed-and-breakfast package. The location and facilities were excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make the stay more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent every morning, and the two times we ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent too. Highly recommended for couples or families.
