Retrato da Memória-Casa de Campo

The bed was bad, and the staff weren’t very helpful.

Breakfast was very meager. The bread was stale and moldy, and the toaster looked as if it had never been cleaned. The room I was given was a bit run down, but it was fine for one night.

The breakfast had a good range, including pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, toast, juice, and fruit, though the breakfast area was quite small and had one large communal table. We were disappointed that we couldn’t use the pool. We arrived around 7:30 pm and it was already closed, and it didn’t get any sun in the morning. It’s a small pool, but still something we would have welcomed. The room was comfortable and nice, with a very large bathroom. The air conditioning cooled it quickly, which was much appreciated in August. There was a terrace, but only one chair and cigarette butts left by previous guests. A reasonable option for a night while passing through.

For the price, the service felt mediocre and the room left a lot to be desired. Breakfast had very little variety too. The place does have a pool, patio, and terrace, but I found it disappointing value for money. I wouldn’t recommend it for an overnight stay, as I did.
